A note from us

Made with care.

We think the ordinary parts of the day deserve better tools. Downloading is one of them.

Say hello

How this began

It started with a
small annoyance.

A document you need now. A film you want to keep. A folder the browser’s download bar was never built for.

The tasks themselves are tiny. The friction around them is not: files in the wrong folders, progress lost halfway, tabs piled high, and no clear sense of what happens next.

Duvrin gathers the whole run into one tidy workspace: notice the file, choose it, watch it land, find it again. An everyday job that stops feeling like one.

Not more clutter. Just a little more order.

What we hold to

Thoughtfully designed

First,

See clearly.

You should always know what is being saved, where it goes, and how far it has come. The details that help, without the ones that don’t.

Second,

You decide.

Pick the file. Confirm where it lands. Pause when something else matters. Good software follows the person using it.

Third,

Privacy holds.

Your download state stays on your Mac. Sensitive request details stay guarded. A license never needs to know where you have been.

How it’s built

A native surface.
A dependable core.

A native Mac interface on a Rust core that owns download state, storage, and scheduling. The craft shows in what you see, and holds in what you don’t.

  • Native interface
  • Durable download state
  • Authenticated local connection

Made for your everyday.

We’d love Duvrin to be a small, useful part of it.
