Your license

Activate or renew Duvrin

Buying a license and activating it are two separate steps. This guide covers both, and what each plan includes.

Activate your purchase

Your payment receipt records the payment. The separate Duvrin email contains the code you use in the app.

  1. Find the email titled Your Duvrin Annual activation code or Your Duvrin Lifetime activation code. Check Spam and Junk if it is missing.
  2. Open Registration in Duvrin.
  3. Enter the email address used at checkout in Purchase email.
  4. Paste the activation code into Registration code, then choose Validate while connected to the internet.
  5. If Duvrin asks for an email verification code, enter the separate eight-digit code sent for that request, and review any device-replacement notice before confirming it.
  6. Check the plan and dates displayed in Registration once validation completes.

An activation code and an eight-digit verification code serve different purposes. Enter each in its matching field, and keep both out of the browser companion.

Renew Annual

  1. Choose Annual on the pricing page and complete the new purchase.
  2. Find the new activation code in your Duvrin purchase email.
  3. In Registration, choose Enter a different code if your current registration details are already shown.
  4. Enter your purchase email and the new code, then choose Validate.
  5. Check the updated dates in Registration.

Annual does not charge or renew automatically. If you already paid but the dates have not changed, redeem the new code rather than buying again. A second registered Mac can receive the updated term when it next refreshes, so the renewal is not purchased twice for the two slots.

Understand your plan

Plan and What it includes
PlanWhat it includes
Eligible free trial30 days with the original trial deadline. No card or email is needed to start, and the paid annual grace period does not extend the trial.
AnnualUSD 5 as a one-time payment for exactly 365 days under the annual term rules, followed by a fixed seven-day grace. Renewal is a new purchase that you explicitly redeem.
LifetimeUSD 10 as a one-time payment. The license does not expire, includes standard updates, and carries a minimum ten-year service commitment. Ten years is not a license cutoff.

Both paid plans cover two physical Macs.

When annual time starts

A first annual term is anchored to the purchase’s settlement time. A linked renewal adds 365 days after the later of your existing paid-through time or the new purchase’s settlement time. The purchase changes your active registration only when you redeem it.

Waiting to redeem a purchase does not move its term start forward. Grace is not purchased time and does not carry over into a renewed term. Registration always shows your current paid-through and access dates.

Using Duvrin offline

Paid installations use device-bound permissions that last at most seven days between successful refreshes, and Annual permissions are also bounded by the annual access deadline. Reconnect before the permission expires to keep paid access available.

An eligible trial keeps its original 30-day deadline and does not use the paid seven-day reconnect interval. Reinstalling or recovering a code never restarts a trial or adds paid time.

If the code is missing or does not work

  • Confirm that you are checking the email address used at checkout.
  • Search your inbox, Spam, and Junk for Duvrin activation code.
  • Make sure an eight-digit verification code has not been pasted into Registration code.
  • If a verification code expired, use Resend code in the current flow and enter the newly issued code.
  • If you recovered your activation code, use the replacement rather than the old one.

Do not purchase again to fix a delivery or activation problem. Recover access, or contact support with your purchase email, order reference, and the error text, without sending either code.
